Job Overview:

Fidelity Investments is seeking a seasoned Director, Enterprise Security Architect to spearhead the development of next-generation cloud-based security platforms. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge security solutions that align with our business strategy and ensure the integrity of our systems.

This role requires a strong technical background in security architecture, cloud computing, and software development. You will work closely with our business and IT partners to provide technical leadership and vision, authoring multi-year architecture roadmaps and promoting opportunities to optimize, consolidate, reuse, and simplify.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure cloud-based architectures for enterprise applications
  • Develop and maintain security standards and methodologies for all layers of the application stack
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks
  • Provide technical guidance and support for security-related projects and initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement

Requirements:

15+ years of experience in software design, architecture, and development10+ years of industry experience in security architecture, analytics, design, and development of enterprise solutions for multiple technology platforms, frameworks, and languagesStrong understanding of cloud security patterns and technologies, including AWS and AzureExperience with application security implementations and standard methodologiesRelevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CCSP, AWS Security Principles, and AWS Certified Solution ArchitectKnowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM), Cryptography / Key Management, Access Controls and Security Protocols, secrets modernization, secrets management e.g., Multi-factor, SAML, OAuth, OIDC etc.Extensive technology knowledge and recognized expertise in several areas including Java, Spring, Oracle, Lambda, Cloud patterns, Cloud Service and User AuthenticationExperience with firewall, WAF, and other edge services as well as deep understanding of DMZ and other network architecturesExperience establishing a strategy for and implementing cloud enterprise solutions in AWS and/or AzureStrong understanding of cloud container platforms such as Kubernetes / EKSExperience with logging, monitoring, and alerting solutionsFinancial services background, e.g.- trade settlement, corporate action, etc. would be a plusA degree in Computer Science or related field
