Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Roadway Project Engineer to join our Civil Roadway team in Tennessee. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering transportation projects and working closely with senior staff to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement transportation design plans in accordance with local DOT standards
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure project goals and objectives are met
  • Manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring timely completion and within budget
  • Mentor junior staff and provide guidance on project development and implementation
  • Interact with clients, agencies, and other project stakeholders to ensure project success
Requirements
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in civil transportation design
  • Licensed PE in the state of TN or ability to obtain licensure through comity within one year
  • B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Experience working with public agencies, private entities, and/or municipalities
  • Progressive experience with developing plans, specifications, and submissions per DOT standards and requirements
  • Excellent communication and client relation skills
  • Strong organizational skills with a track record for adhering to design budgets and schedules
  • Advanced use of MicroStation and Geopak. OpenRoads Designer experience a plus
