Position Overview:
This role is a part of the US Bureau of Reclamation and involves working with advanced ordnance systems.

Military Grades:
Applicable for grades E4 through E7.

Compatible Military Assignments:

General Experience:
Applicants should possess experience or training that showcases their capability to troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in ordnance equipment and components. Proficiency in interpreting sketches, electrical diagrams, technical specifications, and engineering drawings is essential. Candidates should also demonstrate skill in utilizing test equipment for conducting electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic assessments.

Specialized Experience:
Candidates must have experience or training in planning and executing repair sequences, along with the ability to modify, repair, and install ordnance systems. Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting complex malfunctions is required, as well as familiarity with hand tools and measuring equipment. Experience in using various test equipment and interpreting technical directions, blueprints, sketches, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications is necessary. A minimum of 12 months of experience equivalent to the next lower grade level is required.

Additional Information:
For positions under the Federal Wage System, specialized experience must be documented and performed for at least 30 consecutive days. Experience in the same field will only be credited based on a standard 40-hour workweek. Candidates should ensure that hours worked are clearly documented in their resumes.
