Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Rental Equipment Operations Manager to join our team at Gillman Home Center. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the retail rental operations of all equipment at our assigned location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent service to customers, treating all team members, vendors, and customers with courtesy and respect.
  • Equipment Management: Monitor and track equipment on a daily basis, follow up on contracts to ensure equipment is returned within contract timelines, and inspect equipment for damage, missing parts, fuel levels, and cleanliness.
  • Operations Coordination: Coordinate the delivery and pickup of rental equipment, conduct repairs and maintenance on rental equipment, and generate purchase orders for repairs or required maintenance.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Maintain missed rental reports and perform daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly reports as necessary.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe rental area, and perform store maintenance tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience: Mechanical expertise is a must for this position
  • Skills: Strong mechanical skills, excellent customer service, good organizational skills, and proficiency with computer skills
