About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team at Walmart. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance department's daily activities, ensuring compliance with company quality and safety standards, and driving operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage associates and leaders in the maintenance department, providing direction, monitoring performance, and offering feedback.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, such as OSHA and Hazardous Waste, relating to maintenance operations.
  • Oversee and direct financial aspects, including monitoring expenses and capital expenditures compared to budget, and preparing and analyzing business reports.
  • Drive and implement the business plan for the maintenance department to achieve facility goals, including production, quality, and safety.
  • Forecast and follow up on staffing, workload, and performance results to meet business demands.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field, or an Associate's Degree or technical school certification in a related field, and relevant experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
  • Proven experience in supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing employees, managing workload, and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze financial and operational data.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
