Job Summary

Covered California is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer service center, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting with health coverage enrollment, and resolving customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate and timely information about health coverage options and benefits.
  • Assist customers with health coverage enrollment, including answering questions, resolving issues, and providing guidance on the enrollment process.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience.
  • Stay up-to-date on health coverage policies, procedures, and benefits to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics and quality standards for customer service and issue resolution.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse customer populations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in software applications, such as Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
