Key Responsibilities:- Implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and behavioral intervention strategies to meet each student's unique needs and goals.
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective educational experience for students.
- Provide one-on-one support and instruction to students, as well as group instruction and community-based activities.
- Assist with data collection and progress monitoring to inform instruction and make data-driven decisions.
- Participate in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques to ensure student safety and well-being.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and behavior.
- Assist with classroom management and organization, including preparation of materials and resources.
- Bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
- Valid California state driver's license.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably with students with autism and developmental disabilities.
- Ability to think critically and make independent decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other support staff.
