As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the clinic, managing a team of Medical Assistants, and implementing nursing policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and evaluate the performance of Medical Assistants, including MA supervisors, to ensure they are meeting clinical and operational standards.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures in collaboration with the Medical Director and Health Center Administrator to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Sea Mar's standards.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to State and Federal Regulations, as well as Sea Mar's policies and procedures.
- Focus on quality measures, HEDIS, and Meaningful Use standards to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Provide ongoing training and education to Medical Assistants on infection control, sterilization techniques, and other clinical skills.
- Lead hiring efforts for Medical Assistants and participate in the hiring of other support staff.
- Oversee and maintain a patient care system that ensures nurse-only visits and provides high-quality care to patients.
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with an active RN or BSN license in the state of Washington.
- LPNs will be considered if they possess equivalent experience to satisfactorily meet the qualifications.
- Completion of state-mandated HIV education.
- Obtaining Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR within 90 days of hire date and maintaining current BLS CPR throughout employment.
- Excellent communication, listening, and team building abilities.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
- Strong leadership abilities and coaching skills.
- An eagerness to learn and adapt to new situations.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and self-motivated attitude.
