Manufacturing Contract Review Engineer

Metalex Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and quality-minded individual to join our Total Quality Team in the Quality Assurance area of expertise. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and implementing technical customer requirements to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Contract Review: Reviewing customer purchase orders, drawings, and associated documentation to determine requirements.
- Supplier Purchase Order Review: Ensuring appropriate requirements are flowed down.
- Quality Planning: Developing inspection reports and related inspection documentation.
- Quality Documentation Management: Maintaining customer, supplier, and internal documentation to be provided to the customer upon job completion.
- Source Inspection: Scheduling visits and working directly with customer inspectors when on site.
- Non-Conformance Management: Notifying and working directly with customers when part non-conformances occur.
Requirements:
- 5 to 10 years' experience working within Quality Assurance.
- ISO9001 & AS9100 knowledge.
- Experience working directly with customers and suppliers.
- Ability to read technical drawings & technical specifications.
- Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of quality assurance, including data analysis and trending.
Preferred Skills & Attributes:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong data collection and analysis skills (Root cause).
- Highly proficient in MS Office Applications (especially, ppt, excel & word).
- Previous experience in quality assurance or similar field.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and fully capable of multitasking.
- Highly conscientious, diligent, and team-oriented.
- Ability & desire to grow, learn new things, and take on new responsibilities as expertise elevates.
- Strong Technical proficiency must be able to use computers well and generate reports.
