Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Care Representative. This role is responsible for providing exceptional service to the public, answering inquiries, and resolving complaints in a professional and courteous manner.

About the Job

This is a full-time position that requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. The successful candidate will have experience working with the public, handling cash transactions, and operating office equipment. In addition, they will be able to acquire knowledge of Davidson County and MTA service in a reasonable time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sell fare media to customers at the Customer Information Booth
  • Complete daily sales and paperwork reconciliation at the end of each shift
  • Provide accurate and satisfactory answers to customer inquiries and concerns regarding transit services
  • Offer assistance and support to dissatisfied customers, de-escalating situations when necessary
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; previous telephone operator experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Basic arithmetic calculations and problem-solving skills
Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary, commensurate with experience. The estimated salary for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location.
