Position Overview:
The role focuses on Personal Lines Sales and Service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute daily service tasks assigned by Producers and/or Account Executives in accordance with agency procedures, including account management tasks such as quoting and issuing policies, providing ID cards, endorsements, certificates, claims handling, renewals, and correspondence. Respond promptly to client inquiries and requests.
- Conduct insurance marketing and sales activities. Gather renewal information for assigned accounts and provide claims support. Review new and renewal policies to ensure accuracy and compliance with client expectations.
- Maintain precise client data within the agency management system (Applied Systems / EPIC) and document all activities accordingly.
- Collaborate with other agency departments to secure necessary information for issuing appropriate policies for mutual clients.
- Keep Producers informed of significant account activities, being proactive in identifying potential issues and communicating them to management.
- Stay updated on industry trends through participation in educational seminars and training to enhance insurance and sales skills, ensuring compliance with licensing requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of current underwriting standards and policy provisions, including any updates or changes.
- Complete additional functions and assignments as required, including backup duties.

Qualifications:
- Strong organizational abilities with a focus on prioritization and initiative.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, complemented by strong interpersonal abilities.
- Mathematical proficiency to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, premiums, and percentages.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret a variety of instructions and manage diverse variables.
- Experience with Applied Systems / EPIC is advantageous.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma is required; an Associate Degree or higher is preferred.
- Active Property & Casualty License is necessary.
- Completion of CPCU or relevant training courses is a plus.
