Aquagenix is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Aquatic Pesticide Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and beauty of our aquatic ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities:- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain a wide range of lakes, ponds, fountains, and aeration systems.
- Stock fish, conduct water testing, and maintain a schedule of accounts to control aquatic vegetation in waterways.
- Operate boats and UTVs in Tampa, FL, to perform various tasks.
- Apply herbicides and other chemicals to control weeds, grass, and brush in commercial and industrial sites.
- Perform equipment and vehicle inspections, calibrate spray equipment, and assist with daily routing and scheduling.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in the greens industry or science field preferred.
- Commercial pesticide applicator's license for aquatic vegetation management required.
- At least 2-4 years of experience in aquatic vegetation management required.
- Must be able to swim and not be afraid of water, snakes, or alligators.
- Bilingual helpful.
