As we expand our Behavioral Health services, we are looking for a full-time, skilled board-certified/board-eligible Adult Psychiatrist to provide care to patients in our Behavioral Health Department through both virtual and in-person consultations. You will collaborate closely with our primary care and specialty providers, cognitive behavioral therapists, and embedded primary care clinicians, utilizing a hybrid work model that includes both remote and in-office responsibilities. You will manage a diverse range of mild to moderate psychiatric conditions and offer psychiatric consultations. Additionally, you will play a vital role in advancing our psychiatry program as it transitions into value-based care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering direct patient care, including psychiatric evaluations and medication management within the Behavioral Health Department.
- Providing psychiatric consultations to primary care providers.
- Educating physicians and nursing staff on psychiatric disorders and medication management in the primary care context.
- Developing psychiatry services and programs tailored to meet the needs of Summit Health's patients and providers.
Successful candidates must hold a valid NJ Psychiatrist license.
