Job Description
We're seeking a skilled, board-certified/board-eligible Adult Psychiatrist to join our Behavioral Health Department. As a key member of our team, you'll work collaboratively with primary care and specialty providers, cognitive behavioral therapists, and embedded primary care clinicians to deliver integrated, multidisciplinary patient-centered care.
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct patient care, including psychiatric assessment and medication management to patients in the Behavioral Health Department
- Psychiatric consultations to primary care providers
- Educating physicians and nursing staff on psychiatric disorders and medication management within the primary care setting
- Developing psychiatry services and programs to meet the needs of Summit Health's patients and providers
