About the Role

We are seeking an experienced E-Learning Specialist to join our team at HealthStream. As an E-Learning Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and developing interactive eLearning content for external and internal audiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to determine and prioritize eLearning development needs, learning objectives, and training content.
  • Draft storyboards and scripts that include opportunities for learners to develop their knowledge and skills through interactive, case-based content.
  • Develop training videos using aesthetic design composition that is grammatically correct and free of typographical errors.
  • Maintain the eLearning library, including periodic review and as-needed edits and revisions.
  • Collaborate with the Training and Technical Writing Teams to ensure that all training assets complement each other in style and content.
  • Work in HealthStream's proprietary Learning Management System (LMS), including assigning learning and updating Courses and Curriculums.
  • Actively participate in department and organizational quality initiatives.
  • Actively contribute to the attainment of quarterly performance goals.
  • Exemplify HealthStream values on a daily basis.
Requirements
  • Experience in eLearning instructional design and development, preferably for software (Saas) training videos, using a variety of development tools.
  • Experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Working knowledge of adult learning principles, learning styles.
  • Ability to implement evaluation methodologies.
  • Prior experience with Screen Recording and Video Editing.
  • Knowledge of Visual/Graphic Design principles is desired.
  • Knowledge of HealthStream products and services is a definite plus.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in adult learning, instructional design or related field.
