Job Responsibilities:
Assist nursing staff by executing fundamental care tasks that are crucial for the personal comfort and well-being of patients.

1. Provide assistance with dressing, grooming, bathing, feeding, and monitoring vital signs.

2. Respond to patient calls, assist with toileting, oral hygiene, nail care, and catheter management; help transport and reposition patients as needed.

3. Report any changes in patient condition and maintain a clean environment by disposing of waste appropriately.

4. Ensure basic patient care is delivered effectively and compassionately.

5. Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms and change bed linens regularly.

6. Accurately record temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.

7. Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals and document accordingly.

8. Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:
1. Must be at least 18 years of age.

2. Possess a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record as per company policy.

3. Certification as a Nurse Assistant or Home Health Aide is required, in accordance with state regulations.

4. Completion of an accredited home care aide training program or a minimum of six months of relevant experience.

5. Ability to utilize proper lifting techniques and manage physical demands, including lifting up to 75 lbs; must be capable of sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and reaching as necessary.
