About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team at Swift Creek Dental Care. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and Welcome Patients: Provide a warm and welcoming experience for patients from the start of their dental journey, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout treatment.
  • Conduct Patient Health History Reviews: Thoroughly review patients' health history to provide quality care and ensure accurate treatment planning.
  • Take and Process X-rays and Diagnostic Assessments: Utilize advanced technology, such as iTero 3D scanners and digital photography, to take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments.
  • Provide Chairside Assistance: Offer superior support to dentists during various procedures, adhering to state dental practice acts and ensuring patient safety.
  • Manage Patient Records and Scheduling: Utilize Dentrix software to manage patient records, scheduling, and inventory, ensuring seamless office workflow.
  • Prepare Treatment Rooms and Maintain Safety Protocols: Prepare treatment rooms with strict adherence to safety protocols, following OSHA and CDC recommendations.
  • Manage Supply and Inventory: Effectively manage supply and inventory levels, placing and expediting orders as needed to maintain a well-stocked office.

Qualifications
  • Working Knowledge of Dental Procedures and Terminology: Possess a solid understanding of dental procedures and terminology.
  • Experience in a Fast-Paced Customer-Centric Environment: Have experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment.
  • Dental Assistant Certification and/or X-ray Certification: Hold dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification, as required by the state dental practice act.
  • Excellent Communication and Organizational Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills, ensuring seamless patient care and office operations.
