The role involves collaborating with a diverse team, including classroom educators, school psychologists, and specialists in learning disabilities, to create a comprehensive strategy aimed at enhancing student development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish educational objectives for each student, monitor their advancement, and document evaluations.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and engage them in supporting behavioral management and supplementary home activities.
- Oversee and mentor teaching assistants.
- Assist in planning for students' transitions to successful post-secondary endeavors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education
- Valid Special Education Credential
