Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our team. This role is primarily focused on HR systems, reporting, and employee relations. The ideal candidate will provide support in various HR activities, including benefits administration, payroll coordination, and employee communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices to employees and management.
- Ensure data integrity within HR systems and perform regular audits to maintain accuracy and compliance.
- Develop and maintain HR metrics, dashboards, and reports to support data-driven decision-making.
- Analyze HR data to identify trends, provide insights, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Prepare and present reports on various HR metrics to HR leadership and management.
- Assist in integrating HR systems and processes of acquired entities.
- Recommend improvements or changes to the current HRIS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transition and integration of HR functions.
- Provide support in employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
- Stay current with HR trends, laws, and best practices to ensure compliance and innovation in HR processes.
- Ongoing professional development by participating in conferences and educational opportunities; participating in professional organizations.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an HR role with a focus on general HR, HR systems, and/or reporting.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Basic Human Resource principles, practices, methods, procedures, and terminology.
- Knowledge and understanding of pertinent federal and state regulations as well as FLSA, FMLA, ADA, workers' compensation, and DOL requirements.
- HRIS systems and other programs intended to streamline HR processes.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills including communication, patience, courtesy, and compassion for employee issues.
