Job Description

The ideal candidate will participate in conducting analysis interviews with business stakeholders to understand current systems and identify areas for improvement. They will gather and document functional and technical requirements, create mock reports, and develop complex reports based on Oracle data. Additionally, they will develop and update test cases/scripts, perform system testing, create a User Acceptance Test plan, and coordinate User Acceptance testing. The candidate will also provide knowledge transfer to state staff to implement and support technical solutions. Collaboration with Information Technology Services staff will be required. The candidate will be expected to participate in status review meetings and provide monthly reports.

Daily Tasks
  • Work with business stakeholders to review and analyze existing systems, reports, and documentation.
  • Participate in business user and stakeholder meetings for requirement gathering sessions.
  • Develop, write, and maintain a comprehensive requirements document and assist with use case development when required. All documents will be done according to ITS standards.
  • Analyze, design, develop, and document technical solutions utilizing Crystal Reports and Oracle/SQL queries. This will include creating report designs, data mapping documents, and configuration changes.
  • Participate in the development and updating of Test cases/scripts.
  • Execute tests and record results.
  • Participate in status meetings and provide monthly reports.
  • Provide knowledge transfer to state staff to implement and support technical solutions.
  • Work closely with the project manager and functional manager to ensure timely deliverables.
