Position Summary:

The Security Operator plays a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of SoFi Stadium and the surrounding Hollywood Park campus. This position requires a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, and is essential to the overall safety of our venue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to security requests and collaborate with local law enforcement as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests and staff while overseeing crowd management.
  • Work alongside operational teams to address visitor needs while upholding safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular inspections of designated areas and rotate through assigned posts.
  • Document any incidents, malfunctions, or safety concerns appropriately.
  • Interview individuals involved in incidents and prepare detailed reports as required.
  • Assist in creating and executing public safety plans for daily operations and special events.
  • Adhere to established security policies and procedures across the campus.
  • Ensure property security and prevent damage or vandalism.
  • Monitor access points to ensure authorized entry for guests and employees.
  • Respond to fire alarms and manage evacuation procedures when necessary.
  • Screen all personnel entering the venue to verify access rights.
  • Maintain accurate logs of activities and incidents.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid California Guard card, with the ability to maintain status during employment.
  • Minimum of one year of relevant security experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrates integrity and accountability in all work-related activities.
  • Proficient in using new technology and computer systems relevant to security operations.
  • Flexible availability, including the capacity to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods.
  • Experience in a stadium or similar venue is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Prolonged standing and walking required.
  • Comfortable working in various environmental conditions.

Compensation:

The hourly wage for this position is $21.50.
