Position Summary:

The Security Operator plays a crucial role in addressing all security requirements and ensuring the safety and security of SoFi Stadium and the surrounding Hollywood Park areas. This position necessitates a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as it is essential for maintaining operational security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to all security-related needs and service requests, collaborating with local law enforcement as necessary.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to guests and staff while overseeing crowd management.
  • Work in conjunction with operational teams to fulfill visitor and event requirements while upholding safety protocols.
  • Conduct routine inspections of various areas, rotating assignments as directed.
  • Report any safety or operational issues, including malfunctions or misconduct.
  • Document incidents and interviews with witnesses and victims as required.
  • Assist in formulating and executing public safety strategies for daily operations and special events.
  • Adhere to established security protocols across the stadium and campus.
  • Ensure property security and prevent damage due to negligence or vandalism.
  • Monitor access points to the campus, verifying appropriate access for guests and employees.
  • React swiftly to fire alarms, conducting necessary checks and implementing evacuation procedures when required.
  • Screen all individuals entering the venue, ensuring they possess valid access credentials.
  • Maintain accurate logs of activities, movements, and repairs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Possession of a valid CA Guard card, with the ability to maintain this status throughout employment.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant security experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrates integrity and accountability in all work-related interactions.
  • Proficient in learning and utilizing new technology and systems relevant to the security field.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Experience in a stadium, arena, or similar venue is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Prolonged standing and walking are required.
  • Comfortable working at heights.

Environmental Conditions:

  • Work involves both indoor and outdoor environments, with exposure to varying weather conditions.
  • High noise levels may be present.

Compensation:

The hourly wage for this position is $21.50.
