Job Summary

Monterra Credit Union is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Consumer Lending division as Vice President. This strategic leader will be responsible for driving growth, managing risk, and delivering exceptional member service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive consumer lending growth and profitability
  • Manage a team of lending professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement lending products and services
  • Oversee all aspects of consumer lending operations, including origination, processing, underwriting, and servicing
  • Participate in the Credit Risk Management Committee and Asset Liability Committee to ensure effective risk management
  • Develop and maintain relationships with dealers, vendors, and other stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure Monterra Credit Union remains competitive
Requirements
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in consumer lending, preferably in a mid- to large-size financial institution
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Knowledge of financial concepts, systems, operations, methodologies, and performance metrics
