We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative to join our team at River Forest Medical Campus. As a Patient Access Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth registration and billing process for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately collect and analyze demographic, insurance/financial, and clinical data from multiple sources.
- Obtain necessary signatures and information for scheduling, registration, and billing.
- Screen for compliance with payer requirements for medical necessity and pre-certification.
- Effectively interact with patients, their representatives, and other stakeholders to ensure their needs are met.
- Follow EMTALA, HIPAA, payer, and other applicable regulations and standards for registration.
- High School diploma.
- Two years of admitting experience.
- Medical terminology preferred.
- Must speak and write English.
