Job Description:

As a Shift Lead at Walgreens, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the store during your shift. This includes opening and closing the store, managing cash handling, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.


Key Responsibilities:
Customer Experience:
  • Engage with customers and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience.
  • Model and share customer service best practices with team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

Operations:
  • Responsible for holding store keys and opening/closing the store as needed.
  • Assist with and coach team members on warehouse and vendor ordering processes.
  • Responsible for registering sales on assigned cash register and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist manager or assistant store manager with reviewing order exceptions and reverse logistics.
  • Assist with evaluating and developing displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure proper signage is displayed.
  • Assist with bookkeeping activities, including cash reports and bill payments.
  • Assist with exterior and interior maintenance, including requesting repairs as needed.
  • Support execution of Pickup program and have working knowledge of store systems and equipment.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.

Requirements:
  • One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
