Position Summary

This role, under guidance, involves the evaluation and management of life insurance claims, including waiver of premium, Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D), Critical Illness, and Accident Insurance claims associated with Group Insurance policies. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough follow-ups in a timely manner.
  • Accurately assessing supporting documentation.
  • Adjudicating claims to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service.

Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience (4 years).
* Proficiency in PC applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Strong customer service abilities.
* Excellent mathematical, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
* Proficient problem-solving and research capabilities.
* Experience in multitasking and prioritizing effectively.
* Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Completion of LOMA courses.
* Familiarity with state regulations, statutes, and ERISA.
* Understanding of medical and insurance terminology.
* Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is advantageous.

Work Arrangement:
This is a flexible position requiring 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely.

Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $27.15
