Job Description

The Crew Resource Manager is responsible for the effective utilization of crew resources and developing long-range staffing plans in compliance with company policy and FAA regulations through the use of analytical tools. Liaise with internal departments regarding staffing plans. The Crew Resource Manager must provide exceptional customer service to the crewmembers and internal customers within other departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop long-term staffing plans for pilots to ensure optimal crew utilization and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate 6-month schedule bid and vacation bid processes to ensure crewmembers' needs are met.
  • Coordinate monthly PBS schedule bid to ensure accurate and efficient scheduling.
  • Monitor and adjust crewmembers' schedules due to program movement to ensure adequate staffing and effective crew utilization.
  • Analyze monthly staffing requirements against owner demand to proactively manage any short-term staffing deficits.
  • Responsible for scheduling coordination of OE tours and PIC upgrades to ensure seamless crew transitions.
  • Ensure accurate updates to crewmembers' schedules in CAMP, the company's centralized aviation database.
  • Coordinate implementation of staffing/training plans with various departments to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Research and resolve conflicts regarding crew schedules to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Update ILC schedules in CAMP based on aircraft commander crew schedules to ensure accurate crew reporting.
  • Reconcile crewmembers' schedules to ensure accurate crew payroll reporting to HR, including paid time off, overtime, and per diem reporting.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business or aviation preferred.
  • Required two to four years' related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience or a Flexjet employee with proven results within the company.
  • Required two years related experience either in a Scheduling or Planning environment at a 135 or 121 airline operation; equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior Planning or Scheduling experience within Flexjet preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of FARs in regard to Part 91, 121, or 135 airline operations.
Skills and Abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft software applications (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word, and Outlook).
  • Excellent analytical skills and strong decision-making skills.
  • Excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal skills, and problem-resolution skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with organization and time management skills.
Schedule Requirements

Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays if required.
