Job Title: Lead Laboratory Specialist

Tundra Testing is seeking a skilled Lead Laboratory Specialist to join our team in Anchorage, AK. This role requires a strong background in laboratory operations and a passion for delivering exceptional results.

About the Role:

  • Direct all scientific methods and procedures for accurate testing of THC, THCA, CBD, CBDA, and CBN potency.
  • Conduct terpene profile analysis and test for harmful microbials, residual solvents, toxins, pesticides, and dangerous molds or mildew.
  • Lead plant sex identification testing to aid cultivation and production accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and implement quality control and assurance protocols to meet industry standards.
  • Conduct regular on-site inspections, maintain specimen retention, and ensure security and chain of custody for all samples.
  • Supervise lab space organization and ensure accurate records and timely reporting of results.

Requirements:

  • Doctorate in chemical or biological sciences from an accredited college or university, plus two years of post-degree laboratory experience.
  • OR Master's degree in chemical or biological sciences from an accredited college or university, plus four years of post-degree laboratory experience.
  • OR Bachelor's degree in chemical or biological sciences from an accredited college or university, plus six years of post-degree laboratory experience.

Salary: $137,000 per year
