About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to provide financial information and support to our clients. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for administering financial data, preparing financial statements, and providing expert advice to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial information and support to clients through administration, bookkeeping, and account analysis.
  • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Offer advisory services to clients on financial matters, including tax returns, sales tax, and accounting principles.
  • Manage client accounts, including bank setup, payroll processing, and benefit deductions.
  • Research and interpret financial data, answering accounting and financial questions.
  • Prepare general ledger entries, reconcile accounts, and close months.
  • Prepare external financial statements for clients by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system.
  • Prepare payments, accrue expenses, assign account numbers, and initiate disbursements.
  • Cash/bank reconciliation, management analysis, and limited forecasting.
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks (Premier, Accountant, Online) or similar accounting software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English language.
  • Good knowledge of GAAP.
