About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Operations Manager to join our team at AEG. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our employees, vendors, and visitors at State Farm Arena.

Key Responsibilities
  • Security Operations: Oversee all aspects of daily safety and security operations, including patrolling interior and exterior areas, monitoring CCTV cameras and security systems, and responding to incidents.
  • Access Control: Control team member and visitor access into the building, including monitoring and controlling access to sensitive areas.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain all security equipment through proper upkeep and maintenance.
  • Training and Development: Attend Department in-service training as needed and participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on security policies and procedures.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Complete reports as necessary and maintain accurate records of security incidents and activities.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Two years of security experience required.
  • Certifications: Must be able to pass a criminal record check, Motor Vehicle Report, and obtain and keep current First Aid Certification.
  • Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills, detail-oriented, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of time, lift 50 lbs, and work any shift including nights, weekends, and holidays.
