Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a highly skilled Security Operations Center Manager to lead and manage our global internal and external Security Operations Center. The ideal candidate will have experience in security event monitoring, management, and response, as well as incident identification, assessment, quantification, reporting, communication, mitigation, and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Security Operations Center team, ensuring compliance to SLA, process adherence, and process improvisation to achieve operational objectives.
  • Develop and revise processes to strengthen the current Security Operations Framework, review policies, and highlight challenges in managing SLAs.
  • Manage team and vendor resources, initiate corrective action where required, and oversee the administration and maintenance of security devices.
  • Perform threat management, threat modeling, identify threat vectors, and develop use cases for security monitoring.
  • Oversee the integration of standard and non-standard logs in SIEM and create reports, dashboards, and metrics for SOC operations.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in incident management, response, and reporting.
  • Experience in security device management and SIEM (QRadar, Splunk).
  • In-depth knowledge of security concepts, including cyber-attacks and techniques, threat vectors, risk management, incident management, and TTPs.
  • Experience in threat management and continuous assessment using CMM.
  • Knowledge of various operating system flavors, applications, databases, and middleware to address security threats.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience in performing vendor management, especially outsourced SOC.

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree - preferably in Information Security.
  • CISM, CISSP, CEH, or additional certifications in the Information Security domain.

Benefits:

Alvarez & Marsal offers a competitive salary range of $130,000 - $150,000 annually, dependent on education, experience, skills, and geography. Additionally, we offer a discretionary bonus program based on individual and firm performance.
