Job Summary

SSM Health is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team in a Weekend Option role. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography procedures to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Imaging Procedures: Prepare and position patients for computed tomography scans, selecting appropriate anatomic and technical parameters to ensure high-quality images.
  • Contrast Media Administration: Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Patient Monitoring: Observe patients during procedures and report any abnormal activity, monitoring protocols and recommending updates or refinements as warranted.
  • Radiation Safety: Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of a radiology program.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA), ARRT-R Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and ARRT-CT Computed Tomography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
