We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at SSM Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring accurate and safe procedures.
- Select and adjust anatomic and technical parameters to optimize image quality.
- Administer contrast media and medications as needed, adhering to established protocols and regulations.
- Monitor patient activity during procedures and report any abnormalities or concerns.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Associate's degree or completion of a radiology certification program.
- Registered in Radiology (ARRT-R) or equivalent certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
