As a Computed Tomography Technologist at SSM Health, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. This is a rewarding career opportunity that requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform computerized tomographic procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury according to protocols established by radiologists.
- Prepare and position patients, selecting anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
- Administer contrast media and/or medications as needed, within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Observe patients during procedures and report any abnormal activity.
- Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
- Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Completion of a radiology program.
- No experience required.
Professional Licenses and Certifications:
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA).
- ARRT-R Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- ARRT-CT Computed Tomography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
