Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Field Mechanic to join our team at Primoris Power Delivery. As a Field Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, servicing, repairing, and maintaining equipment assets, including vehicles, trailers, aerials, and yellow iron.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment assets, including vehicles, trailers, aerials, and yellow iron.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Use various electronic diagnostic equipment to identify and repair electrical, hydraulic, air conditioning, gasoline, and diesel systems.
  • Work in a team environment to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two-year technical, vocational, or trade school diploma or degree in auto, truck, and/or heavy equipment preferred.
  • Minimum of five years verifiable experience in the automotive/truck maintenance field.
  • Fluid Power Society and/or ASE certifications desired.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
Work Environment

Primoris Power Delivery is a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. As a Field Mechanic, you will be required to work in a variety of settings, including shop conditions, outdoors, and in confined areas. You may be exposed to extreme temperatures, humidity, and noise levels. You will be expected to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
