Job Summary

Stanford Health Care is seeking a highly skilled Patient Administrative Specialist III to join our team. As a key member of our clinical operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care, scheduling appointments, and ensuring seamless communication between patients, providers, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient care, including scheduling appointments, procedures, and surgeries
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of patient registration and insurance verification
  • Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff to resolve issues and address concerns
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and databases
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure efficient and effective patient flow
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a clinical or administrative role
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare software
