We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Director to lead our LDRP and NICU teams at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care, managing staff, and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and guidance to LDRP and NICU staff to ensure delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, reduce readmissions, and enhance the patient experience.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient flow.
- Manage staff performance, provide coaching and development opportunities, and foster a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Develop and manage budgets, ensure fiscal responsibility, and make data-driven decisions to drive operational excellence.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and excellence in patient care.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; Master's Degree preferred.
- Current Kansas Registered Nurse License and BCLS certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in LDRP or NICU required.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
