We offer a unique opportunity for a Director of Safety and Security to join our Risk Management and Safety department. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in protecting the lives and property of our patients, residents, and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive safety and security plans to prevent fire, theft, and vandalism.
  • Oversee security operations, including video surveillance, electronic access controls, and staff education.
  • Collaborate with local emergency responders to ensure seamless integration of security measures.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of security incidents to identify root causes and develop preventive measures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and local agencies to support safety initiatives.
  • Oversee the budget for safety and security operations, including planning for expenditures related to security systems, training, and personnel.
Qualifications
  • Three to five years' experience in security management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Criminal justice background with traffic control experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, safety management, or related field required.
  • Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and Physical Security Professional (PSP) certifications strongly preferred.
