Job Summary

Maverick Gaming is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Main Banker 1 to join our team. As a key member of our banking operations department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing cash handling and inventory, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cash Handling and Inventory Management: Count, reconcile, and distribute large sums of money accurately and promptly. Maintain custody of funds and records of those funds.
  • Customer Service: Provide exemplary customer service to our guests and employees. Check guests for proper identification and wear and maintain all uniforms properly.
  • Banking Operations: Perform pit fills/credits, kiosk fills, Food and Beverage transactions, and Slot Attendant transactions. Prepare deposits, count and bundle cash, and wrap change.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare reports and records of transactions for assigned banks. Maintain accurate records of cash handling and inventory.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with team members at all levels to achieve departmental goals. Demonstrate knowledge of casino operations, gaming rules, and regulations.
Requirements
  • Age and Licensing: Must be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain and maintain a Colorado Support Gaming license.
  • Experience: 1-2 years prior cash handling or cashier experience required. 1-2 years prior guest service experience required.
  • Skills: Possess great customer service, written and verbal communication skills. Basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to stand for duration of shift. Must be able to bend, stoop, and continuously use hands. Ability to push and pull up to 25lbs and occasionally up to 45lbs.
