Job Overview
Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team in Chicago. This part-time position offers the opportunity to work in a clinical setting, assessing and managing patient care with independence and as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for ordering diagnostic studies, prescribing interventions, and providing health education to patients. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care, maintaining accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record. Additionally, you will participate in quality, safety, and peer review initiatives, as well as education and onboarding of new team members.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need an active RN, APRN, or APRN-FPA/APNP license in the state(s) of practice, along with national board certification in area of clinical practice and populations served. A Master's Degree in Nursing is also required. Your ability to work independently and as an effective member of a healthcare team will be essential.

Physical Requirements
This role requires continuous standing, walking, bending, stooping, and twisting throughout the workday. Lifting up to 50 lbs from floor to waist and carrying up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance are also required. The estimated annual salary for this position is $115,000 - $140,000, depending on experience.
