About the Role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a talented Field Marketing Manager to help execute our field marketing strategy and team for the Auto & Manufacturing Industry.

This is a unique opportunity to make your mark on a fast-growing business in the exciting and dynamic cloud and SaaS marketplace.

The Field Marketing Manager, Auto / Manufacturing will partner with sales leaders at the center of the AWS and customer relationship to not only grow the business but also uncover opportunities to reshape the way companies use and benefit from AWS services and offerings.

As part of this job, you will gather market and customer insights and use this data to execute on the marketing strategy for Auto / Manufacturing customers.

You will prioritize areas of focus and resources to achieve maximum impact, build multi-channel marketing plans, and use a data-driven approach to decision making.

You will also collaborate with other teams and agencies as needed.

The right candidate will have a results-driven approach to marketing and a scrappy, entrepreneurial spirit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and set up mechanisms for gathering market and customer data and insights to inform business direction
  • Partner with sales leaders and functional stakeholders to develop and execute a differentiated marketing strategy and plan for AWS
  • Drive implementation of the plan through team and leveraging shared services, supporting teams, and agencies as needed
  • Drive customized, high-value customer experiences focused on the customer needs and progression through the buyer's journey
  • Think big to deliver new ideas and creative approaches
  • Identify opportunities to leverage existing materials, campaigns, and resources and drive inclusion and participation of customers in programs led by other organizations
  • Work with other marketing teams to deliver necessary messaging, assets, and campaign deliverables as needed to support marketing programs and address customer challenges
  • Deliver detailed reporting and metrics on activity results, campaign effectiveness, and ROI. Use data to make real-time adjustments and proactively identify trends and opportunities
  • Share plans and campaign tactics with other team members to facilitate, reuse, and replicate best practices
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest-growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers, including public sector.

The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success.

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables)

Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns

Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in multi-territory campaign management

Experience in digital marketing and content production timelines and process

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.

The base pay for this position ranges from $70,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $151,700/year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
