Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the financial operations within the Facilities Division
  • Assess and address departmental financial requirements proactively
  • Conduct comprehensive budget assessments and offer strategic recommendations
  • Supervise the central business office's financial functions
  • Manage timekeeping systems and the Banner Finance interface
  • Lead and mentor assigned staff members
  • Direct the Facilities Operations Customer Service Center
  • Supervise the University Capital Improvement Administrator
  • Propose enhancements for the department's technological infrastructure
  • Identify training requirements for division personnel
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
  • A minimum of three years of experience in administrative or business management
  • In-depth knowledge of Banner Finance and university accounting practices
  • Proven experience in financial and budget management
  • Experience in supervising full-time staff
  • Ability to define and refine business processes
  • Proficiency in financial management and accounting software
  • Experience with timekeeping and payroll systems
  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems
  • Possession of a valid driver's license
