This position requires expertise in managing diverse funding sources, conducting thorough budget evaluations, and supervising essential financial operations. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in business administration or a closely related discipline, coupled with a minimum of three years of experience in administrative or business management roles.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the financial operations within the Facilities Division
- Assess and address departmental financial requirements proactively
- Conduct comprehensive budget assessments and offer strategic recommendations
- Supervise the central business office's financial functions
- Manage timekeeping systems and the Banner Finance interface
- Lead and mentor assigned staff members
- Direct the Facilities Operations Customer Service Center
- Supervise the University Capital Improvement Administrator
- Propose enhancements for the department's technological infrastructure
- Identify training requirements for division personnel
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
- A minimum of three years of experience in administrative or business management
- In-depth knowledge of Banner Finance and university accounting practices
- Proven experience in financial and budget management
- Experience in supervising full-time staff
- Ability to define and refine business processes
- Proficiency in financial management and accounting software
- Experience with timekeeping and payroll systems
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems
- Possession of a valid driver's license
