Synoptek, a leading Managed Services Provider, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. With a global presence and a focus on delivering world-class strategic IT leadership, we enable our clients to grow and transform their businesses.

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled professional to drive new customer acquisition, selling advanced systems integration projects and managed IT services to mid-sized organizations in North America. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to field questions with concise responses, and have a proven track record of complex sales pursuits positioning, bundling, and selling multiple service pillars.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of new customer acquisition business development experience, overall program envisioning, proposal development, and consulting and program leadership experience for impactful business and technology programs. They will also have experience transforming businesses with full-services systems integrations and IT outsourcing firms, a plus.

Responsibilities:
  • Prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close new logo average contract values of $1M - $5M within a defined target market.
  • Sell to mid-market commercial organizations by combining multiple service pillars: Business Applications (Consulting, Implementation, and Management), Data Analytics, Custom Application Development, Cloud Advancement, Managed Security, Workforce Productivity, and Full IT Outsourcing.
  • Define a phased vision for customers, outcome success, win themes, and value proposition by combining technical modernization, financial situational improvement, risk mitigation, and organizational efficiencies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree in related field from an accredited college or university.
  • At least 3 years of new customer acquisition business development experience, overall program envisioning, proposal development, and consulting and program leadership experience for impactful business and technology programs.
  • Prior experience transforming businesses with full-services systems integrations and IT outsourcing firms, a plus.
