Project Support Specialist

The Project Support Specialist is a key part of our National Accounts team, responsible for maintaining customer, vendor, and contractor follow-up and outreach. The team member supports other team members with overflow, small project coordination, data and order entry, and other tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage queues of orders and open inquiries to deliver customer materials on time and in full.
  • Work with vendors and agencies to request material, understand shipping timelines, and request escalations as needed.
  • Communicate across teams to inform of any delays, challenges, and keep up to date on order progress.
  • Ensure accurate and thorough documentation in systems, including purchase order attachments.
  • Prepare reports, forecasts, or bill of materials, based upon the direction of Manager.
  • Interface with web portals to access construction drawings, post quotes and change orders correctly, and ask or respond to additional information requests following company guidelines.
  • Build product and customer service knowledge through regular learning and development.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma with 2+ years of professional work experience.
  • Experience working in a team environment.
  • Experience in customer service, in large retail or service organization.
  • Experience in lighting and/or electrical distribution equipment preferred.
