Store Manager

KEY FUNCTIONS & DUTIES

CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT
Deliver outstanding service to every customer by following the Sell with Style approach.

Effectively address all customer concerns, ensuring satisfaction through active listening and problem-solving.

Share insights on products while assisting customers with their selections.

Conduct customer bag checks as necessary.

SALES PERFORMANCE


Maintain awareness of daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and track store performance regularly.

Contribute to the overall success of store sales and performance metrics.

Monitor sales on an hourly basis using the store diary.

Continuously strive to enhance all company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Utilize all available tools within the store diary to meet KPI objectives.

EAR PIERCING
Understand the correct usage of the mechanical stud and clasp ear device.

Provide safe and hygienic ear piercing services to customers.

Be aware of the procedures in place for potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens.

VISUAL MERCHANDISING AND STORE MAINTENANCE
Assist with merchandising and maintaining store cleanliness.

Implement all floor updates, range updates, and promotional displays according to the planogram.

Complete sale setups following established guidelines.

Ensure all signage is accurate and current as per the guidelines in the Lowdown and on the planogram.

Conduct daily 'time to shine' (morning cleaning) and 'recovery' (end of day merchandising) tasks.

Keep the store environment clean and inviting for customers at all times.

Report all maintenance issues through the 'Service Desk' within 24 hours.

Maintain an organized backroom - No stock should be left in the backroom.

Perform regular store inspections to identify any safety concerns.

PRODUCT MANAGEMENT
Ensure stock is processed in accordance with company standards.

Restock products in ranges promptly upon delivery within 24 hours.

Conduct daily/weekly stock audits by the end of each week.

Refill products from storage areas daily.

Organize excess stock to meet company standards.

Ensure all damaged products are repaired immediately and returned to the sales floor.

BRAND REPRESENTATIVE
Present yourself in alignment with the current Lovisa Style Guide.

Wear the designated team piece during every shift.

Exhibit professionalism at all times.

COMMUNICATION
Read, comprehend, and act on all points in the Lowdown and any 'Lovisa Communication' notifications.

Maintain open communication and utilize the Store Diary on a daily basis.

Respond to phone calls within 24 hours and emails within 48 hours.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Adhere to all aspects of the Lovisa Employee Manual.

Stay informed about all policies and procedures.

Maintain security awareness in accordance with Lovisa policy.

Utilize daily cash-up sheets to ensure cash register accuracy at all times.

Be adaptable, flexible, and proactive in your approach.

Work hours as scheduled within retail hours.

Complete other tasks and special projects as required within your skill set.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
Sales growth compared to last year

Average Dollar (Ave $) above company benchmark

Items per sale (IPS) above company benchmark

Add-On sales at 15% and above

LOLA completion at 90%


Act in accordance with Lovisa standards and perform essential duties in the absence of the Manager, based on your skills and competencies.
