Urban Growers Collective is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for loading and selling fresh produce on our Fresh Moves Mobile Market and UGC Farmstand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce Sales and Customer Service: Interact with customers, provide excellent customer service, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Site Operations: Load and manage produce, handle cash transactions, and maintain a clean and organized sales environment.
- Community Outreach: Communicate with site-partners, execute outreach strategies, and represent Urban Growers Collective in a professional and respectful manner.
- Quality Control: Handle and manage the quality of produce, ensuring it meets our high standards.
- Logistics and Transportation: Drive our bus to and from sites, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required for this position.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Produce Knowledge: Knowledge of produce handling and Point of Sale software.
- Cash Handling: Ability to follow cash-handling protocol.
- Passion for Social Equity: Passionate about social equity issues and committed to working with diverse communities.
Compensation and Benefits:
$20-22/hour, part-time hours. We offer a competitive compensation package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
