We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our team as a Child and Family Advocate. In this role, you will work closely with families and children to provide support and guidance, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve stability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with partnering agencies to ensure comprehensive support for families and children.
  • Assist families in achieving stability through casework, home management, and referrals for counseling services.
  • Interact with law enforcement, juvenile officers, and other public officials to address family and children's issues.
  • Represent the Children's Division in court hearings and meetings related to case work.
  • Provide transportation and support to children in their homes and throughout the community, as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent and four or more years of professional experience in protective services, including casework and case management.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field, with relevant experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work a combination of evening and weekend shifts.
  • Availability to participate in the on-call rotation.
  • Ability to travel throughout the State of Missouri as needed.
