Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Associate to join our team at Carle Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary treatment team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comprehensive care and well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of patient treatment plans, working closely with the treatment team to ensure seamless coordination of care.
  • Provide individual and group therapies, utilizing evidence-based approaches to promote patient growth and recovery.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, including addiction evaluations, to inform treatment planning and ensure patient safety.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to promote a supportive and therapeutic environment.
  • Document patient interactions, progress, and treatment plans in a clear and concise manner, adhering to established policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as psychology, social work, or counseling.
  • Certification as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (CADC) or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and email applications.
