LPN-In School Health Professional

Job Summary:
As a Clinical Nurse LPN at Carle Health, you will be responsible for delivering patient care that promotes the safety and well-being of our patients. Under the direction of a healthcare provider, you will assist with obtaining basic vital information, preparing patients for examination, treatment, and minor surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers with patient care and administrative tasks
- Develop and implement patient education plans using the Teach-back method
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the patient's electronic health record
- Comply with CLIA, OSHA, Safety, and Risk Management guidelines
Requirements:
- Current license to practice nursing in the State of Illinois
- Previous clinical experience in a medical office preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work as a team member and prioritize tasks effectively
