Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Associate to join our team at Trillium Place. As a key member of our interdisciplinary treatment team, you will provide comprehensive care to individuals with behavioral/emotional/mental health problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure patients receive comprehensive services by assisting in patient assessments, developing goal-directed treatment plans, and maintaining a sound knowledge base of advanced directives.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a therapeutic milieu, setting behavioral limits, de-escalating patients, and providing supportive care to patients and families.
  • Provide group and individual therapies, facilitating educational sessions, structured groups, and psychoeducational groups in accordance with patient plans of care.
  • Participate in Performance Improvement activities, actively promoting customer satisfaction, generating ideas for improving processes, and serving on unit-based and hospital-based committees.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI Training) within 3 months and Basic Life Support (BLS) (AHA) within 30 days.
  • Advanced reading, writing, and oral skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people.
